Thinking about retiring??

This book is so upbeat and user friendly that it should be the first book any retiree or potential retiree ever reads. It is full of information and stories from real people who have succeeded and learned important lessons about their plans for retirement. The author breaks down the different issues one needs to consider in retirement, realizing that it is not a decision that can be made in a vacuum. All members of the family are involved in one's retirement, even if they are not living in the same house, and the author even points out the alternatives to moving or staying put. She suggests trips to check out retirement communities before selling your house, points out that moving to be near your granchildren has its pros and cons, and describes the different kinds of travel arrangements available to older travelers. She also deals with memoir writing and protecting your heirs, not the usual stuff one sees in retirement books. The book is colorful and beautifullly designed. A must read!
