A time to rest, a time of recovery. After hard times challenging the character and foundation of many of them, a planned easy voyage starts with near disaster for the crew of the Morning Star. Their tragedy, however, leads them to a romp in near paradise. After hard times comes joy. But they find themselves not the first marooned here. Survivors from another ship, some well known to them, suffer to barely survive as hostile creatures decimate their numbers. Still another ship, from another generation, also found itself grounded, to be discovered now by the crew of the Morning Star. With numbers far exceeding their own and insufficient resources from their damaged ship, it is up to the crew to assist the castaways to adapt to new life there, to form new civilization with just governance for all. Simultaneously it is time for former adversaries to embrace new ideas, new opportunities, and from animosity find friendship.
