Solid information

Solid info about the mind game as developed by the Soviets. Lots of good exercises. As usual, it's important to take a fresh look at old concepts, and this book does that. Self development has been around since before the Greek philosophers, but understanding and applying it is made easier by seeing the basic ideas from every angle and using various exercises; this book offers both.

Whoever owns the rights to this book is doing themselves a disservice. Mr. Raiport's overview of the Russian Olympic team's psychological training tools is indispensable to athletes and athletics. Find a way to get it. Read it. Pass it on.
