In the code of ethics by faith, we tend to look at life according to the rules of the flesh instead the rules of godliness. The code of God is different from the code of sin. It is true that we are born into sinfulness. But we do not have to live there. The common word rebellion has a double meaning like most other words we take for granted. In the days of the Bible, it was considered as treason to live in rebellion. The cause of the rebellion was death or exile. The King, Prime Minister, or Governor would make the call as to what would happen. In certain circles, the Priests or Rabbi would make the call to the sin of rebellion. What we have missed is the Kingdom side of the rebellion. Our human causes have eliminated the truth from our hearts and minds. Thus being so, the truth brings us back into a relationship with Christ the Lord. The body of Christ stands as rebellious to Satan and his demons, or fallen angels. People do not become demons, they become slaves to pain and punishment. Many have fled the truth of having a relationship with Jesus because of our rebelliousness toward the Throne of God. But God in all of His Grace and Mercy, set aside love for us even though we turned our backs on Him. Rebelliousness can work for us or against us depending on how we utilize it. The uncommon goal is to commit sin and run from the Lord. My new normal is to run to the Lord and seek Him especially when life is falling apart. What I love about the age we live in is, people want to know the truth about the Lord. The Bible says to learn about Jesus, to learn about God the Father. But then we forget this other part that said to get understanding. For many years I searched for the truth, I searched for information, and I searched for the evidence of Jesus in my life. Then I found out that I needed understanding. One of my mentors said "Upon getting the information needed to prosper in Christ, we have to utilize the efforts to get rid of information that does not matter" In other words, we take out what we thought was right and put in what is right. Here is a key, no one has it all right, everyone makes mistakes. The only one that never gets it wrong is God.
