Something for Everyone

I usually don't go in for this new age healing or self help type of book; however, I found this book had a few important messages. Her description of how she learned to love herself and to accept love was very important. She also merges spritual healing and modern western medicine in an accepting way.In addition to the message of healing, her personal story of struggle and enlightenment also chronicles the way in which the support networks surrounding those with AIDS reacted to late 80's and early 90's. Her challenge of the acceptance of doom all to often admired in those with a serious illness perhaps made the difference to survival.The book is a quick and easy read. Whether or not you go in for new age genre her writing has a pleasant flow and is inspirational.
