Plot Summary

The Raven Hill Mysteries series is an exciting about a group of six teenagers who form an odd job company and often end up uncovering a crime. Each book is by one of the six different characters, the first is from the point of view of the team member Liz. The group, "Teen Power Inc" is established by Liz as a way for the characters to make some money and are hired by the owner of Raven Hill's local newspaper, "The Pen". However they quickly become involved in uncovering whose behind a spate of attacks on the struggling newspaper including an arson attack, forgery and possibly a murder. Despite my poor description the book is gripping, the situations and characters are likable and realistic and the book is one of the many examples of Emily Rodda's brilliance and creativity. Although marketed at 9 - 12 year old's this book can be enjoyed by many and I heartily recommend it to all readers.
