Rainbow family

This paper examines the positions taken in the political and social debate on rainbow families. The aim is to present as broad a spectrum of opinions as possible, including positions that are not the focus of the general daily press. Same-sex marriage as the linchpin of the arguments, the controversial attempt to categorise the positions presented, and three further critical comments on child welfare, power and the media form the interpretative approaches that follow on from the arguments presented above. The debate begins with social and family change and the question: What is family?
