A cartoonumentary that Ralph Bakshi called "A textbook for animators in the brilliant use of design". A dizzying salad-toss of caricatures, typography and wild design.

I think it's interesting that he chose not to print it on coated paper. I feel he loses the dynamics of the colours and the details of his illustrations. However I think this book is fantastic with great characters and the paper does add the effect of the road house theme. Definately one of my favourite illustrators.
