A century ago, the town of Lebanon, Missouri, burned Sylas Benbow alive inside a funhouse, convinced the carnival puppeteer was a monster. They were right-just not in the way they thought. Now, 100 years later, the carnival has returned, rolling into Lebanon, Missouri, bringing with it a ghost from the past.
The Raggedy Man is back, and he's hunting the descendants of those who took his life. Twisted tendon-strings dangle from his charred fingertips, puppeteering the bodies of his victims in a gruesome performance of revenge. Every scream, every desperate plea, is nothing but another act in his never-ending show.
With the carnival looming over the town, people begin to vanish, their bodies found hanging like marionettes, joints snapped into impossible angles. The laughter of the midway turns to screams, the funhouse mirrors reflect horrors that shouldn't exist, and the scent of burning flesh lingers in the air.
The only way to stop him is to end the family Bloodroots.
