Quilt Everything in Your Cottage

The Quilted Cottage / 0-87349-700-7 This is a nice slim little volume, with very little emphasis on quilting "basics" and a readiness to jump into quilting up your own little cottage. And just about anything you might have in your cottage, this book has quilting instructions for. There are instructions for a bed quilt (of course), throw pillows, a wall hanging flag (Americana themed, like much of the book), a tablecloth, drink coasters, potholders (scented and unscented!), utensil holders, and a host of other everyday items. About the only thing that isn't included here is a quilted toilet-set cover. If you want a basic pattern for any or all of these items, check out this book - even if you don't like "country" or "Americana" themes, the projects are all easily modified once you know the basic pattern. ~ Ana Mardoll
