Excellent reference book for beginners through experts

The best thing about the Singer books are the photographs. All the designs and techniques are accompanied by photos, not drawings or cartoons, making it easier to understand the instructions. The projects are shown in great detail and the colors are bright and contrasty so you can see exactly what the text is describing. I can't say enough about the photographs--they are of National Geographic quality.
