The value of introversion

It was very well researched and does a good job of explaining how and why our society focuses on and rewards extroverts. I saw my childhood, myself as a parent, and my workplace in her descriptions. On the downside, sometimes I found myself skimming content because the research became a little redundant. Also, I would have liked to see the last chapter fleshed out with more ideas on how to integrate the strengths of both groups in work, school, and parenting. There were some good ideas but they were just sort of thrown in as a list at the end. Overall, it was a middle of the road good read.

Bad condition, advertised as good

I love this site. I buy (arguably too many) books from here. Too often these days, my books are advertised as good or like new, and arrive bent, ripped, or without a dust jacket. These are things that should be noted prior to purchase!

Condition of book was disappointing

I was excited to see my order of this book in my mailbox as I've heard great reviews on it. However, I was disappointed in the condition of it. It was labled as in "acceptable" condition. I certainly didn't expect perfect, but to have over half of its pages all written upon was very disappointing. Underlined paragraphs, side notes, etc making it difficult to read and absorb the content.

Great book for introverts and extroverts alike!

Very well researched and insightful book. First book I have read on this subject, and thoroughly enjoyed getting an insight as an introvert into my extroverted friends. Would be good for business managers to read to develop strengths of their employees.
