While the target audience is kids, even adults can learn something from this book! With television forecasts full of terms that not everyone understands, it's great that this book avoids that completely. Using simple words and terms, everything from fog and smog to why it's cooler inside a cave is explained. The illustrations are nice without being too obtrusive and the table of contents - something a lot of young kids' books don't have (or need) - is a big help when you just want to find one answer without having to leaf through the pages. Great resource for easy to understand info, whether it's for school or just because you want to know!
