When young Mary, the sacred temple cat from Myanmar was chauffeured to her new home, she struggled to conceal her disappointment. As a Queen, she was expecting a palace, or at least a modest castle, but her servants, the Duke and Dutchess of Sandgate, could only offer her a view of the sea from their newly renovated water-front home. No wonder Mary snuck out to explore the world, only to find that curiosity almost killed the cat.

Queen Mary's life spiralled out of control, but as a regal and gracious Queen, Mary humbly accepted her new unpretentious surroundings, and began to train her latest servants, Missy, Spring and Jack.
