In various social echelons and arenas of modern prejudices and difficulties, the reader is invited to delve into the dangerous ramifications of misunderstanding, miscommunication, reactivity, partisanship - and the seemingly inexorable trend of society.

The fiction ends on a note of unhappiness, but that does not mean the reader has to choose hopelessness for reality. In the end, the essential point is that we are all of us fellow human-beings with greater challenges and greater resolutions to face - together.
