Not Lebanese Blanche, LESBIAN!

This quote is from the show the Golden Girls where Blanche is confused about the difference between someone who is Lebanese and someone who is Lesbian. This tongue in cheek joke illustrates the confusion many have about what is Lesbianism really all about and how do clinicians work effectively with them. I use this book when I teach Gay Affirmative Psychotherapy to master's level social work students.
