Gave intrigue to dreary diagnostic material from the DSM IV.

I've resisted the dreary study of diagnostic categories for years. I was delighted to find a book on psychopathology that brought the diagnostic categories to life. Rather than placing troubled souls in little boxes, this book integrates the Adlerian theory of lifestyle. I now have a clearer picture of how a client's mistaken beliefs can lead him/her in the direction of a diagnostic category.
