Required for class

This book was required for class for psych. The book is easy to read however, it unfortunate that it does not contain testing questions after each chapter. The test questions that are available are only on the cd, which does not focus on the chapters but the only the main topics of pschy such as dementia. It would've been better if it had for each chapter. -_-

Well written and to the point.

This text deals with the major topics of mental health nursing in a direct and very readable manner.

good psych book

This book is very well written - it explains the various psych issues and disorders in an easy to read, easy to understand format. It reviews psych medications as well as psych issues related to children and adolescents. The book comes with a CD that has some nclex type questions, but ideally it would have more questions on it (thats why I only gave it 4 stars).
