A charming gift for parent or camper

Terrific Family Book

This book is AMAZING and FUNNY and perfect for the whole family. We read the letters out loud during dinner and sometimes cant get through a page because we are laughing so hard. We are also loving the book because our son has a letter featured and each time we re-read it, it reminds us how happy he is at camp. We hope there are many future editions of this book in years to come. We have been giving it as gifts to many of our friends with children going to camp for the first time as it takes some of the nerves out of the whole process. A must read!!

Pure Reading Fun!!!

I love this book!!! Having been a camper for many years I found this book to be so much fun and it brought back so many wonderful camp memories. My children who are too young to go to sleepaway camp (Ages 5 and 3 1/2) saw the book on my nightstand and asked me to read it to them. They loved the letters and it is now a nightime ritual. We read the letters over and over again and always giggle together. It is pure reading fun. I highly recommend this book and it is the prefect gift to buy all your friends whose children are going to sleepaway camp for the first time.

Love it!

This book is hilarious...having sent my own daughter to camp for several years, I can relate to it. Its funny, pithy and rings true to what a mother can get in those letters. As I rarely do, I laughed out loud when I ready this one. Its a quick fun read, and its a great book to read WITH your kids BEFORE they go to camp to get everyone ready for the journey. Thanks to the author for pulling together such a clever grouping of letters for all of us to enjoy! LB
