loved it

I got this bok from the local library and totally loved it!! I love period romanes and this one was great. I am curently looking for the next one after this (I was hooked after reading the first several pages in the backof Promise Me Towmarrow). I hope that others will enjoy the book, along with its twists!

This is the second book of a 3-book series. The first one is "A stolen heart" and the third book is "No other love". The characters of her books are vividly written and seemingly alive. I have read all three and this book is just incredible. The story of the series is about three brother and sisters who were separated since they were young. Will they find each other? Read the whole series and find out for yourself.

I just finished reading the book last night, I was not supposed to stay up so late because I have to get up early to have everything ready before me and my husband leave the house to take our son to preschool, and then go to work. But instead of taking the book to the office, to read at lunch time, I just went and finished it all. IT WAS WONDERFUL!One of the things I liked best is that the narrative does not have any of the melodramatic nonsense in which the heroine and/or the hero have to go through rather agonizing situations for them to be happy. This tale is an enchanting, action-packed romance, which portrays the clash of two very strong characters, Marianne, a beauty with a self-sufficient disposition, and Justin with all his overconfidence and alluring arrogance. The story is so absorbing that it keeps you turning the pages until you realize that the book is over. I tried to take it slow and read a few pages at a time, but could not. You will not regret reading this one, I highly recomnd it. I have already read "A Stolen Heart," the first of the series which is wonderful too. It is the first time that I did not feel sad about the book coming to an end, since I know that "No Other Love," the third book of the series, will be out soon. When is this one going to be released? I have searched throught the Internet and I have not been able to find any information about it, so if someone knows anything about this, please let me know.

Riveting

Another great book by Ms. Cook. Alot of mystery, suspense, and of course romance. The heroine,Marianne is a strong woman who can take care of herself. It's not like some of the historical books that you read where the lady ALWAYS needs a man. She stands on her own. A very well wriiten book & highly recommended.

Enjoyable read

When caught by Lord Justin Lambeth Marianne tries to brush it off. But Justin isn't so easily dismissed.PROMISE ME TOMORROW is a light hearted, fun book that every regency lover will enjoy. The added mystery of Marianne's birth adds to the story. Highly recommended.
