I owe my successs to it

To the SCWCD Aspirants:It is my eigth certification in Java-J2EE domain and probably the most enjoyable among all. Not just that I got promotion in my job but because it was a GREAT learning experience.Certainly this book by Wrox played the most crucial role in my preparation. Although I tried other available books for this exam but I liked the style and approach of this book as it is not just useful for the exam but for later reference also. I was really happy to correctly answer some of the questions from the objectives which were not explicity stated by Sun but covered in the book and the accompanying mock exam.My lack of practical experience was filled by the case study chapter of this book and also the questions made me think. I must say the explanations of the questions were really exaustive.I HIGHLY recommend this book. If you have it; you WILL be successful. Great prep for the certification exam

I used this book both as a crash-course introduction to the technology as well as to prepare for the certification exam. It is an excellent study guide and stays focused on the explicit exam objectives. Each topic is concisely explained, and the quizes and mock exam closely match the official test.

Although I had to buy this book in $s, I got complete satisfaction looking at the value addition to my preparation and the outcome of the exam for me.The book provides very concise and classifed information required for the exam and the very nature of the book to "explain concept with the aid of examples" makes it a VERY useful resource. Also the Whiz mock test in the CD was of tremendous help.Case study, the uqnique feature of the book also makes it a better book.I am moving now towards my next Java certification and I wish Wrox had a book for the same.Good luck to othersRishab N
