My Favorite

Of all the books Nora Roberts has written this one is by far my favorite. Deanna Reynolds is a reporter trying to make her way into her own talk show. Finn Riley is a reporter who travels the world to get the latest scoop. Deanna finds herself being stalked, with Finn by her side to help her through it they embark on a journey of murder and deceit. With all the twists and turns you find yourself anticipating how they will catch Deanna's stalker while discovering each other. They manage to do it with only a few bumps along the way. I would give this book 7 stars if I could.

A Delightful Read!

This book will captivate readers everywhere, as Nora Roberts once again proves why she is my favourite romance author!Deanna (Dee) Reynolds is a beautiful, lovable, and ambitious newswoman turned talk show host. Her popularity and ratings are rapidly increasing, much to the dismay of her ex-mentor and rival, the attention-hungry Angela Perkins. Angela is past her prime, and she is desperate to remain #1 in the ratings and ruin Deanna in the process. To add to Angela's bitterness towards Deanna is the fact that Dee has begun an exciting new romance with Finn Riley, Angela's former lover! The romance between Dee and the ultra sexy Finn is provocative and fresh. Dee is a sweet yet determined heroine who readers will surely fall in love with. And who wouldn't want a man like Finn? As the story progresses, Deanna soon finds she has bigger problems than a catty rival who plays dirty. An obsessed fan who has been sending her unsettling notes turns violent, as people who have hurt or upset Deanna in some way start turning up dead. Wonderful Ending!

This book is a very well written murder mystery mixed with romance that we love Nora Roberts for! Deanna Reynolds and Angela Perkins are basically in competition. Deanna was a news reporter who then turned to talk show host to replace Angela's spot after turning Angela's job offer down. Something Angela never forgets. You fall in love with Deanna and she manages to find love along the way herself. She does have somebody stalking her all the way through. The ending was great as I didn't know for a minute the "who done it " and was very surprised. This was a great book and truly Nora at her best!

A gripping read

"Private Scandals" is a well-crafted murder mystery with a good dollop of Nora Roberts brand romance as well. Deanna Reynolds, a news reporter-turned-talk show host, finds herself the target of a stalker's obsession, and must try to uncover her stalker's identity before anyone else around her -- or even she herself -- turns up dead. Along the way she finds love and romance with a fellow newsman, and in so doing unwittingly triggers her stalker into desperate action.Readers will fly through this nearly 500-page read as they race to the finish to either figure out who the stalker is or, as was the case with me, to see if their suspicion was correct. For some reason I was confident very early that I knew who this person was, but knowing didn't keep me from staying up until all hours to verify it. This was an extremely well-written and very entertaining novel.

The book I always pick up when I have nothing else to read!

This is probably my favorite book of all time not just my favorite Nora Roberts book. I have read it cover to cover about 50 times and I still go back for more. I have read almost every single book Nora Roberts has put out, and I rarely find a dud. This books hero and heroine are not only part of an interesting romance but the murders committed around them lead to an exciting conclusion. If you want a book you will pick up over and over buy this book. I know it is out in paperback run to the bookstore and buy it.
