Private Relations

PR director Kit Prescott is thrilled that she's promoting Hush Hotel and she's especially pleased with the Fantasy Weekend Contest. Hush is a hotel that specializes in sensuality for their guests. But when the first winner arrives, she's less than thrilled. Peter Garson left Kit standing at the altar three years ago when he got seriously cold feet. But as time as passed, Peter came to realize that Kit is the woman for him, and he's determined to do whatever it takes to win her back, starting with this Fantasy Weekend. Kit, however, is equally determined not to give Peter the chance to hurt or humiliate her again. How do you convince the love of your life to give you another chance when you've already abandoned her at the altar? At the beginning of Private Relations, I have to say, I was biased not to like Peter. C'mon! He left her standing at the altar because he got cold feet! I could easily understand Kit's total determination to keep Peter at a distance. How do you recover from that to become a hero that readers would want the heroine with? Nancy Warren made it possible! Peter focused his attention on proving to Kit that he was a man she could trust with her heart, that he was genuinely sorry about the past. By the end of the book I was aching for Kit to give him another chance. Private Relations is highly recommended for readers who are looking for a sexy, feel good story! fine contemporary romance

Kit Prescott believes that Six Sigma does not go far enough to prevent mistakes from happening. Instead the public relations director of the erotica Manhattan Hush Hotel accepts nothing less than infinite sigma and woe on those who err. Currently her hotel is hosting a Fantasy Weekend, but to her mortification, one of the hostesses fails to show up. Kit adapts rather quickly taking over the role of escorting contest winner Peter, a man she hates for jilting her at the altar. Peter knows he made the error of his life when he did not marry his beloved Kit and plans to correct his indiscretion, but has one weekend to achieve his goal of marrying Ms. Perfect. The characters including the support cast turns PRIVATE RELATIONS into a fine contemporary romance. Readers will empathize with poor Peter who knows that he must do the impossible convince a woman who believes in infinite sigma that he loves her, made the unthinkable mistake of not marrying her when he had the chance, and wants an opportunity to correct his error. Fans will root for him, but also wish him luck living with Ms. Perfect though love has somewhat muted her stance perhaps to the unthinkable Six Sigma. Harriet Klausner

In 200 words describe your hottest fantasy or your biggest mistake.....

Back Cover - That's the sizzling premise behind the Fantasy Weekend Contest at the Hush Hotel in Manhatten. PR director Kit Prescott has outdone herself promoting a hotel catering to the senses -- until she welcomes the first winner. Sexy, single Peter Garson has checked into the Carnaby Suite -- the same man who checked out prematurely from their wedding three years ago!! Peter will do anything to win Kit back, including penning all his fantasies and feelings on paper for her to see -- and experience nightly in the confines of his king-size bed. His touch brings so many memories -- good and bad -- flooding back. But can he and Kit separate fantasy from reality once the weekend is over? Excerpt: Welcome to the Hush Hotel! Check out the couple in room 1864.... "Touch me," Kit whispered, straddling his lap. Peter didn't have to be asked twice. He reached for her breasts, tracing the shape of them though the silk, loving the textures, the nipples pebbling against his fingertips. He pictured her lushly painted mouth as he murmured, "What will happen next?" Paper crackeled. "Will She let me love her?" Ger voice was low and sexy as she read. "I don't know. It's her choice. Her decision." He heard his own words written for the fantasy contest, though she'd added a few of her own. He hadn't realized how intense his need would be with the woman he was in love with -- had loved forever -- splayed across his lap. Kit kissed him suddenly, and the shock of her lips, glossy and wet, felt like his first kiss ever. "Let me love you," he gasped. "Now." "Yes...." There was no way the chair could hold them, what with the two of them tearing at each other's clothes. They tumbled off and onto the floor -- the plush, deeply carpeted, made-for-rolling-around-having-wild-sex floor. I honestly don't know if I could have forgiven Peter if I was Kit - this book is really emotional - it has great sex scenes, but it also goes into a lot of detail about how Kit felt the day she stood at the front of a church in front of 200 friends and relatives, dressed as a beautiful bride and waited for the man she loved who never showed up. He finally sent her a short not saying that he was sorry he hurt her and that he hoped she could forgive him one day with a check to her parents for the cost of the wedding. I cried when I read the part where she told him how it felt. I know he was sorry, but I just don't know if you can ever be sorry enough for something like that. He did do everything in his power to woo her and win her back, but in the end, when she had a chance to get payback for everything that happened three years before or take a chance on happiness - I wasn't absolutely sure what I would have done. This is a really good book - it gets you thinking, but it still has all the hot love scenes we have come to expect from Blaze - I highly recommend it.
