I love this book and you will too. From the rare hardcore Doomsday Cultist to the abundant Economic Survivalist this book will be a treasure never to leave your shelf. This is a favorite book I Trust No One to borrow. An In-Depth section details nuclear threat. Easy to read it covers scientific measurements and allowable doses of radiation, effective defensive sheilding, economic shelters and decontamination, EMP, fallout charts and other surprising info. Gain a level of personal satisfaction from learning how to measure roentgens. Also covers how to plan small prepared survival groups of friends and relatives ready for Nuclear War or Violent Riots. Sister this book with the Morman inspired food storage booklet, "A Year's Supply", and you will be able to "have" when the unprepared "have not". Don't buy this book if you feel confident in Y2K fix's, your ATM machines, the local 24hr grocery store and police protection during and after disaster. Anyone remember the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, with no police protection and 9 year olds holding the family shotgun on the steps of their homes while their exhausted parents caught a few winks of sleep when armed looters roamed the streets?
