my thoughts

I thought this book was great! It remained true to scripture at all times and gave the real meaning of the words rather than a watered down New Age version of them. If you aren't interested in dying to self and serving others then this book isn't for you.

Thoroughly biblical!

Nancy Wilson addresses the topic of Christian motherhood in a thorough and biblical fashion....those who take issue with her teaching should reassess whether they really have a problem with her writing or if their problem is really a lack of submission to Scripture. This book is very convicting and very helpful.

Life altering material

This book Praise Her in the Gates was phenominal. It brought me back to the basics of my calling as a Christian mother. It talked about things I already knew in a way that made them seem fresh. It also taught me elements of being a wife and making a home that I had never even considered. This book is excellent as well as an easy read. I am not a reader and I finished it in about 3 hours. I highly recommend it.
