Overall A Winner

Practical Photography is a generalist book for the advanced beginner/intermediate looking to get better shots through better technique. It covers equipment (cameras, lens, accessories), care of equipment, film types, processing, aperture, composition, lighting, travel shots, people, using lens, joiner pictures and much more. All this is in a hardcover, glossy-paged book filled with pictures that illustrate the point. I recommend this book to those who are looking to do more than "point and shoot" but use their camera to its fullest.

Very useful

This book seems to have plenty of tips, mostly for those just starting out. It is well illustrated and easy to understand. It does not go into deep discussions on any one topic however but covers briefly alot of photography topics. Not a bad book to have in your library.
