Practical! Great preparation for those leaving the nest!

Here is a "math" book that tackles life skills rather than theory. Very clearly written with visual examples that lead the student through step-by-step. Contents include covering your expenses, making and changing your budget, your salary, your take-home pay, choosing a bank, using a checking account, finding a place to live, etc. There are even tips on how to dress for your job and planning for trips. The appendix includes help for the person who needs to brush up on their math skills and offers examples of how to solve problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percents, fractions, and decimals. A great resource for the young as well as the old who now need to fend for themselves.
