I chuckled and said "oh, yes!!" my way through this delightful book. Knowing the author added deeper meaning to it but for those struggling with weight loss or maintaining a healthy weight will garner good advice, encouragement and hopefully a lifetime paradigm shift in what it means and requires to be truly healthy. Her diatribe on those little "healthy" snack bags and the serving sizes (for squirrels, she concludes) had me laughing out loud. This is just one of the many covert ways the food industry has managed to manipulate and deceive even those trying to be healthy. The author exposes other ways also. Dear Noelle, I knew you as a girl and knowing your Mom knew you would go far but never imagined you'd give this hick from the Midwest her 15 minutes of fame. I look forward to your next book and following you through a life full of future achievements. All the best to you and yours.

I really liked this book because it tells the honest story of someone that lost weight and kept it off. The author shares that it wasn't easy and that it still isn't easy for her to stay on track. She lost 60 pounds and has kept it off, her story is funny and inspiring and she has some really helpful suggestions about how to be successful. I really like that she focused on staying positive and having the right mental attitude, I struggle with my weight and sometimes I get really negative. This book helped me see that being negative only stands in my way of success. I say read this book if you are interested in making healthy changes in your life or in losing weight. (...)
