Posthumous Pieces

Wei Wu Wei, an anonymous Westerner, joins Paul Reps, Alan Watts, and Philip Kapleau as one of the earliest and most profound interpreters of Zen Buddhism and Taoism. Well-read, educated at Oxford, and widely traveled, he brings a modern sensibility to the ancient texts.

A True Modern Sage

In the forward of this book Wayne Liquorman states it best: "WWW is not in the business of helping you attain Enlightenment. He knows you have no more substance than the shadow on the wall. Shadows on the wall cannot become enlightened." Gather all the notions that have been collected and throw them over the edge and reside there with nothing/everything.

Perhaps his best ever.

Anyone interested in philosophy or just hoping to see things differently should read this book. Long a favorite of Wei Wu Wei's students, Posthumous Pieces is perhaps the clearest and most concise of Wei Wu Wei's books. A master of the esoteric and never short on profound aphorisms, Wei Wu Wei shows again in this book that what we seak is the seaking.
