Its a classic of Mexican History

I believe Leopoldo Zea is the best contemporary thinker of Latin America. His work is truly massive. This book is his most complete work, and treats the development of the european positivist doctrines that dictated Mexico's destiny during several decades, and shows how this paradigm was unfit for that country's reality, so it led to the Mexican Revolution of 1910. Anyone that has an interest in Latin American history, particularly of Mexico, ought to read this book. I recomend it without reserves. A must for students and researchers. It is a classic by all means.
