Pom-Pom Pets

I purchased this for my daughter's 14th birthday slumber party. The girls had so much fun creating these adorable pets - bunnies, polar bears, hamsters, puppies, - the possibilities are endless.

Great craft for kids!!

This was a great craft for my 9 year old daughter. We actually used it quite a bit. She had a market day for the whole third grade at her school where the kids had to make their own products to sell to the other kids. She made these pom pom pets, and they sold out immediately. The pom pom pets were so cute, and the kids loved them. They were pretty easy to make, and fun too! I highly recommend this book!!

Too fun!

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and she has had so much fun making the animals in the book - actually we both have had a lot of fun. Totally worth the money and very addicting!

Pets are great, but materials are slim

My 8-year-old daughter got this item for Christmas. I had to help her quite a bit with the process--especially making the pom poms. My 11-year-old daughter did better at making the pets all by herself. The animals turned out really cute, but there wasn't nearly enough yarn in the kit to make many of the pets. To make a properly "fluffy" pet, you need to wrap quite a bit of yarn around the pom-pom makers, and there just wasn't enough included in the kit. In fact, we didn't even have enough pink to make the one pig. I'd recommend this book/kit because the animals are really cute, but be prepared to buy more yarn quickly.
