I had to buy this book for a Policing Methods and Ethics class. Rather Boring and very dry reading although, very informative and full of information. What you'll get out of this book is basic policing methods and operations. Explores the myths of the TV cop, the history and evolution of policing, covers such topics as patrols, traffic, juvenile dinqs, gangs, domestic violence, criminal law and investigations, and ethics. After reading this book you'll know a little bit more about police culture.
