Wonderful Hawaiian flavored small town humor

Thoroughly enjoyable! While it all happened on a little island out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, she has captured a sense of time and a sense of place that everyone who has ever lived in a small town can relate to. She has also provided interesting insights into animal life on Kaua`i, gambling and the judicial system, which makes it an all-around entertaining little book.

There have been many books written about Kauai-travel guides, pictorals, histories-but this is the quintessential explanation of why the people who live here never want to leave and neither do the millions of visitors who flock here. "Police Blotter" captures the true spirit of Kauai with lots of humor and a little pathos.
