PlayGame

By Kurt Fillmore

Alexander Sarpong is a bit of an arse; arrogant and self-centered, he is a top athlete in the virtual reality sport known as 'The Game'. Having plateaued since the former champ, Henry Falade, retired, Sarpong risks branching out into doubles game play, finding an unlikely partner in Nicole Mensa, Henry's ex-girlfriend. Not known as a team player, Sarpong faces an uncertain future, where a brutal doubles match against the Chang Brothers could be his undoing.

At less than 100 pages 'PlayGame' is a fast paced, engaging science-fiction story showcasing a futuristic world very similar to our own, where pride, greed, and jealousy can lead to bad decisions.
