A great Bargain!

This book is awesome, especially the CDs that came with it. The package is very relevant for me being a webmaster, the books gave me the idea of the different concept of building and implementing a web server in different platforms!

Although I'm not a fan of Que's "Using..." series this book can't be beat. The discussions are thorough & complete. There are chapters devoted to considerations of page design for both Netscape's & Microsoft's extensions of HTML 3.2. But it is the inclusion of the two CD-ROMs that make the book a great buy. One disc has nearly every site development tool one may need (shareware & freeware, in addition to specially licensed progs). The other disc has twelve Que "Using..." web development books! These cover everything from ActiveX to VBScript. Even if you feel (as I do) Que's books usually leave something to be desired, getting twelve books plus all the web tools you'll need to get started for US$49.00 is too good to pass on

A considerable resource for Web Site Development

The CD Set makes this a valuable asset even though the book is not a definitive text on any of the 3 subjects. Web development is very complicated and can not be covered in depth in any one text which is why the 12 books included on CD makes this text so valuable. You can refer to these other books to get an in depth answer. This is certainly not a text for begineers nor those looking for quick answers
