Plantation: Stanfield Chronicles

By David Tory

Plantation the fourth book in The Stanfield Chronicles series - continues the story, through Isaac's eldest son, James.

Leaving Bermuda for Barbados in 1639, James is pulled into a rescue attempt that costs him his freedom, disappearing into the brutal world of the island's booming, slavery-built sugar trade.

A new setting, a new generation, and the same question that's driven the whole saga: what does it cost to build something new in a world this unforgiving?

Plantation is a tale of romance and adventure on land and at sea. The setting is Barbados, the growth of its sugar cane industry and black slavery.
