Linda Thompson is knowledgeable and resourceful. Her book is the life planning guide we all have been waiting for. No matter how smart you are, you WILL learn and benefit from the valuable life planning skills outlined in this book. There is more too. Among other things, the author's treatment of caregiver issues and her assessment of future social and economic trends, especially for us babyboomers, is perceptive and on the mark. If you read any book this year, you owe it to yourself to read this one.

This book is not only essential reading, it has become an invaluable resource as I struggle with aging parents. Ms. Thompson's suggestions are sage, straightforward and timely.
