A different perspective on a historical moment

Any History Buff will appreciate the accuracy of this novel in describing the events around the Cold War, as well as any individual who grew up around Central Florida area. The details the author includes really helps you to feel like you’re in the story as well as give a bit of nostalgia for those in the two aforementioned categories. The novel itself can drag on a bit in some places, but really picks up in others. The multiple perspectives from a time past and modern day gives a fresh twist on the impact of the Cold War on the American people.
