Very systematic way to develop the theory. Easy to read. I read a few newer books in this field, no one even comes close to this classic book in terms of the treatment of the basic theory.

This book is one of the early written books dealing with silicon device physics. I use it every day in my research work since it provides a comprehensive theory of the semiconductor devices.
