Physical Domestic Violence Against Women

Through a retrospective study, our aim was to study the characteristics of physical conjugal violence against women in order to propose preventive measures to alleviate this public health problem. Generally speaking, doctors play a vital role in the medical and medico-legal management of women who are victims of physical domestic violence, notably by referring them to multidisciplinary medical, psychological, social and legal assistance, reporting the aggression to the judicial authorities and drawing up a medical certificate of the injuries observed.
