"PHOTOS FROM THE FIELDS of the METS & YANKS" is basically a coffee table styled photo book in beautiful hand printed vintage classic B/W. I never had any intentions of writing & publishing a 3rd book @ the age of 92, but life takes strange and unsuspecting catastrophic turns. In November of 2017 my 59 year old son suddenly & unexpectedly took his own life, turning mine & my wife's life into a living nightmare. No parent should ever have to bury a child. So after a few months I decided to salvage my sanity: I was going to undertake another book at the age of almost 93. My 1st book's title is Launch of a Dynasty:Atlanta Braves of the 1990's,also a hand printed vintage B/W book with anecdotes of players personalities ,teasing antics & having tons of fun. My 2nd book is actually the same contents,but in 80% stunning color,with the 5 starting pitchers (3 in the HOF) on front & back covers that have to be seen to be appreciated. Title is "Birth of a Dynasty: Atlanta Braves of the 1990's" All three books are on Amazon.com Since I am a born New Yorker,& now living in Florida for the past 39 years, I decided to put together these stunning photographs accumulated during these past 27 years into a combined New York collage with about equal photos from both teams, representing players from 1988 to 2015, including some recently traded ,like Geo Stanton.
