Excellent!!

Excellent detail on many breeds of pheasant. Tells of their origins, species relations, possible hybrids in the wild and a chart of possible hydrids in captivity. Not a good book to learn of the special perks to raising these birds but still great on knowledge of where they came from. Michael Burton

Excellent book on the subject

Very good book with detailed and updated information regarding biology and status of each species comprised in this group of birds. Also some interesting prints from Elliot's Monograph plus a good number of photos and interesting drawings by the author.

Pheasants of the World

An excellent book. Tends to focus more on the individual pheasant breeds rather than thier care and raising of them. However, probably one of the most in-depth books on the many beautiful species of pheasants worldwide.
