A Fantastic Read!

Offering a unique and insightful perspective on what life is like hiking the AT, Mr. Olds' writings makes you feel as if you're right there hiking along with him. I would highly recommend the book to any outdoors enthusiasts, or simply anyone interested in reading a first hand account of life along the trail.

A must read for the outdoor enthusiast and soul searcher!

Mr. Olds does a fabulous job of describing his adventures of hiking the Appalachian Trail! He manages to give the reader the feel of what trail life is like, as well as the physical & mental states he experienced during his journey toward epiphination! I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in hiking, personal growth, or who has a desire to see the big picture.
