Slow and full of fluff – beware the evils of texting

Maureen had a twin brother who, due to a heart attack, was dispatched from this plane of existence three months ago. She works hard at trying to make contact with her brother. Oh, yes, in the meantime, she spends a lot of time working as a personal shopper. (thus, the title of the movie.)
I don’t want to sound too pedestrian; however, the pacing is excruciatingly slow; you also have to choose whether you’re going to read the subtitles completely or watch the movie. You may have to use the pause button if you want to do both. It’s also a good idea to read about the plot before starting the movie, as the presentation is not as intuitive as it pretends to be. The Maureen character (Kristen Stewart) is mostly a gratuitously potty-mouthed chain smoker. On the positive side, there is no overly done, noisy, distracting music. There is also the opportunity to fast-forward through the filler.
