Heath is home, it seems for good, working as a an Australian television journalist. Then one evening he asks Sasha to accompany him to an award function. It seems his current paramour, Veronica Gardner, the lovely co-producer and co-star of his news show couldn't make it. Sasha goes. Veronica shows. The women argue and the next day Heath takes off for parts unknown, all of a sudden he wants to report from war zones again.When he comes home he's a wounded man. A blow he'd received to the head threatens his vision and he has to rest. Sasha quits her job to take care of him. He tells her he can do without a babysitter. She knows with the proper love and attention, he'll eventually be right as rain. But will he ever learn to love her back.Though this romance was written twenty-one years ago, it read as if it were one of the newer Harlequin novels.
