Percy is a young pelican growing up in beautiful Pelican Bay, eager to learn how to fly and catch fish like the others. But no matter how hard he tries, Percy keeps missing. While the other pelicans succeed with ease, Percy struggles-and soon becomes the target of teasing, earning the nickname "Percy the Plopper."

On his way home, Percy spots something the others cannot-a sneaky alligator creeping toward the resting pelicans. Using his newfound ability to see clearly, Percy warns the flock just in time, saving them from danger.
In that moment, everything changes. The pelicans no longer see Percy as the one who couldn't catch fish-they see him as a hero.
From that day on, Percy is no longer "Percy the Plopper."
