The simple, ecumenical messages have been enjoyed by all ages from preschool children to senior citizens.
Jean has had many opportunities to present children's messages: as the co-pastor of a mission church, while conducting chapel services in an Episcopal school, as a guest preacher in various churches throughout the country while working with Church Financial Campaign Service, while giving the children's message in worship on Sunday mornings, and as a guest speaker at senior citizens' luncheons and retirement centers. When making presentations, Jean uses puppets to tell the stories, and children (of all ages ) have loved being the puppeteers. She is now retired and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
