Pappu Panda: Painting [Urdu]

By Sufia Nasir

Rain is pouring, playtime outside is cancelled, and Pappu and Pinky are officially bored. When their mother suggests painting to chase away the rainy-day blues, the siblings cannot wait for her to grab the brushes - they dive right in, splattering colors everywhere until the whole room (and themselves) are covered in paint What happens next surprises them both: instead of a scolding, Ami breaks into laughter, turns the mess into a lesson on cleaning up together, and the siblings learn that the best adventures - and the best masterpieces - happen when you work as a team.

Part of the beloved Pappu Panda series, Painting is a joyful, fully illustrated Urdu picture book that turns an everyday rainy afternoon into a story about creativity, patience, and sibling teamwork. Told entirely in Urdu with warm, expressive panda-family illustrations, this story models real toddler and preschooler behavior - impatience, mess-making, and the emotional growth that comes from making things right together.

Aligned with the publisher's commitment to SEL (social-emotional learning) and values-driven storytelling, Painting gently teaches young readers about self-regulation, waiting your turn, and taking responsibility for a mess without fear of punishment. Ami's response - laughter and partnership instead of anger - models gentle, values-based parenting that resonates with faith-based and character-education classrooms and homes alike.

Perfect for read-aloud time, rainy-day story bins, Urdu-language learning shelves, and early-childhood SEL curricula, this book invites children ages 3-7 to explore big feelings (boredom, excitement, worry, relief) through a relatable, funny, and visually rich family story. The book comes to life further through companion animation in the Lambkinz app, extending the reading experience for home and classroom use.

Librarians, Urdu-language educators, and early-childhood curriculum buyers will find Painting a strong addition to foreign-language collections, SEL classroom libraries, and diverse-family storytime programming. Available through IngramSpark wholesale distribution.
