Pandora book

I love these Pandora books. They are very good. I also love the author who is on General Hospital and the new Cougar series. She is awesome. Her humor shows through in her books. This product came in good time and good condition. I am very happy with this transaction. AAAA+++

GO PANDORA!!!

This second book in the Pandora is just as awesome as the first one. You find yourself getting lost and on for the ride with Pandy, Alcie, Iole, Homer and Dido. Carolyn Hennesy does it again and I can't wait for the next one. The only downside is waiting for the next one, but I have no choice. lol This series is geared towards teens and pre-teens, and they'll love it, but really anyone will loves these books. It's nice read and rememberance of beloved Greek Mythology. =)

I LOVED IT!!!

I loved it!!! The action started right away on the first page and had me glued to the pages instantly! I enjoyed the addition of Homer to the story and look forward to more of him. The growth of the girls was also well done. I liked how both Alcie and Iole stood up to Pandy about making decisions for them when they were supposed to be working together. I liked how Alcie seemed to mature and grow, putting the welfare of her friends ahead of her own wants (such as not having two left feet!). Although she could still be self-centered (it's a part of who she is) she really pulled through for her friends when they needed her. Pandy also seemed to mature greatly, taking on more responsibility and not giving up, even when she wanted to.

She did it again

When I picked up this book I knew it would be just as great as the first, but I was pleasantly surprised on how wonderful this book was. I got lost in the world of Pandora and her friends, I felt like I was there with them on there newest adventure and what an adventure it was. I simply can not say enough about both books, if you haven't picked either up yet you are missing out. I can't wait for Pandy's next adventure so I can get lost and have an adventure of a lifetime. Carolyn Hennesy out did herself again, she proved once again what a talented writer and person she really is, I can not wait to see what she has in store for all of us.

Pandora is about to take you on a wild adventure

Carolyn Hennesy has done it again. Pandora gets Vain continues on the mythical journey that readers have been anxiously awaiting since the ending of the first book, Pandora gets Jealous. Ms. Hennesy transports you into long ago ages when Gods and Goddesses were revered in foreign lands and gives you a heroine in Pandora that today's readers can identify with. Pandy and her friends, along with the new ones she picks up along the way, show strength in friendship, faith, and family in a way that leaves you rooting for them to gather each of the seven sins and triumph in the end. They talk in language that is appealing to the youth of today while the settings they find themselves in vividly paints a picture of days gone by. Whether you are a "tween" and just learning about the wonders of mythology or are long past school days and just remember those lessons with a fondness, you are going to read this book and instantly start wondering when the third book will be released. Ms. Hennesy has a knack for storytelling and you can see in your mind the picture that she is telling, transporting yourself through her words to the scene of the story that is being told. From the opening page with a turbulent storm to the last page with a glorious gift from a God, you are going to be on the edge of your seat wondering how Pandy and company are going to make it through this next mission.
