The main objective of this book is to study algorithms for optimizing scheduling in real-time systems. We propose a combination of the two algorithms specified in the POSIX 1003.1b standard: Round Robin (RR) and Fixed Preemptive Priority (FPP), and we present a proposal that minimizes the number of context switches caused by the Least Laxity First (LLF) algorithm.
